Several ELA faculty members and their students in the Learning Communities in Spring 2023 have received accolades at the showcase event.

• The winning showcase presentation was by “ESL and Life in the Universe” with Rebekah Johnson (ESL) and Joshua Tan (Natural Sciences)
• Ivan Segura from the CSE and Reading the Biography pair, for his reflection on events of the book They Cage the Animals at Night and how he connected this with aspects of his own lived experience. Faculty: Susan Dorrington (ESL) and Adhiambo Okomba (Reading)
